PURPose

The purpose of the National French Honor Society is to recognize the high academic achievement of RMHS French language learners and to promote continued interest in Francophone linguistic and cultural studies.

Membership |
For initiation into the honor society, members must meet all of the following criteria:
Transfer students must have spent at least one full semester at RMHS and meet all of the above requirements. Previously initiated members that drop or are not registered for a French course during an academic year are considered Associate Members. Associate Members may enjoy limited privileges and benefits in the honor society; however, they may not vote, hold office, or wear the society’s honor cords at graduation. Graduating members of the honor society must be currently enrolled in an AP French, maintain an average of B minus or higher in the AP course, and demonstrate exemplary behavior in order to be eligible to wear the honor cords during the graduation ceremony. |
